With 60 beds and 100,000 visits per year, Gwinnett Medical Center Lawrenceville’s Emergency Department is one of the busiest in the area. Our hospital is home to a Level II Trauma Center with 4 trauma rooms and 13 Children’s Emergency Rooms with three board certified Trauma Surgeons on staff and are proud to be an accredited Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center.
Gwinnett Medical Center Emergency Department Duluth is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and enlarged rooms with patient-friendly amenities. GMC-Duluth Emergency Department is equipped with 24 beds, 1 GYN suite, 2 Critical/Cardiac rooms, and 1 Trauma suite with CT in department, and see approximately 37,000 patients a year. We are also an Accredited Stroke center. GMC-Duluth is not trauma-designated.
Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Current Georgia RN licensure and basic EKG interpretation course are required. Must possess one year recent experience in emergency nursing or completion of an Emergency Services Residency Course. Healthcare Provider BLS and current ACLS are required. ENPC, TNCC, CEN and CPEN certifications are preferred.
