MillerCoors located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is seeking a Security Team Leader. As the Security Team Leader, you will administer the terms and conditions of the contract security provisions that specify the contractors obligations to protect, control and account for company and customer material in accordance with company policies. Youâll supervise and coordinate activities of the security and emergency management staff along with preparing, maintaining security and emergency management processes. The qualified candidate will be well versed in all security and emergency management disciplines including personnel and physical security. The Security Team Leader will be responsible for the oversight of daily security procedures and processes that support multiple customers.
Responsibilities include the following:
· Ensure security and emergency management measures are in place that comply with MillerCoors Corporate Security and Emergency management standards and strategy.
· Review contract planning and requirements to determine security and emergency management needs and advise management of planning actions.
· Conducts regular security inspections and audits of contract security staff as required in accordance with MillerCoors Corporate Security and Emergency management.
· Works with contract security supervision to establish security patrols as required.
· Works with Environmental Safety and Health Manager to ensure that contract guard force is trained accordingly to respond to confined space and Hazmat incidents.
· Assists with security and emergency management incident investigations and preparation of reports specifying preventive actions to be taken.
· Prepares manuals outlining MillerCoors regulations and establishing procedures for granting personnel and visitorsâ access to Milwaukee corporate and brewery facilities.
· Implements physical security safeguards for the protection of personnel and property in a cost-effective and risk appropriate manner.
· Serves as primary point of contact for all alarm activation notifications.
· Provides assistance and guidance to the Environmental Safety and Health Manager, Facility Manager, IT Manager, HR Manager, Technical Services Manager in completion of actions at the Milwaukee corporate and brewing facilities.
· Directly supervise internal/external security staff to ensure proper coverage to maintain core security and emergency management functions and response.
· Ensure security employees have and create a safe work environment.
· Provide assistance with issues involving Work Place Violence.
· Review and communicate incident reports with staff, management, and customers as appropriate.
· Maintain and operates Access Control/Alarm, CCTV, Photo ID, and key control systems.
· Management of security and emergency management staff and department functions for physical security and emergency management at MillerCoors corporate and brewery. Provides leadership in attracting and developing staff, including performance management.
· Develops and manages security and emergency management operations, policies, procedures, and programs.
· Develops and presents necessary documents and reports for management and manages assigned budget.
· Maintains awareness of security and emergency management matters including new/changing laws/regulations. Uses knowledge to respond to a variety of inquiriesâ of complex and diverse scope. Continually reviews and monitors the status of all security and emergency management policies, procedures, and programs to ensure they are in compliance with appropriate regulations, meet organizational standards and appropriately enhance preventative security for the organization and personnel.
Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelorâs degree or equivalent experience in business administration, law enforcement, security or related field, and 5 or more yearâs progressive experience in security administration with at least 3 of those years having management responsibilities. 15 years of equivalent experience in lieu of education or 10 years of equivalent experience with an associate degree may be substituted.
Must possess: (1) extensive experience overseeing a physical security program in a large corporate environment to include managing relationships with external security agencies, law enforcement, and emergency services, ambulatory, and fire department; (2) Extensive expertise in the application of relevant security concepts and practices with a comprehensive knowledge of federal and local security and emergency management regulations and current security and emergency management operating procedures; (3) The ability to articulate and write in a clear, concise, and accurate fashion, effectively address diverse audiences including executive management, and facilitate difficult discussions; (4) strong leadership, interpersonal, and management skills with the ability to build and sustain a successful team; (5) the ability to interpret and explain complex issues; and (6) exercise considerable and sound judgment in all aspects of work. Must be able to work extended hours as necessary and travel as required.
Desirable Qualifications:
Security and emergency management experience within an industrial, food or beverage environment. CPP desired. Applicant should have experience with oversight of industrial security and emergency management programs, including knowledge of Facility Security Officer Responsibilities as well as work with external agencies such as law enforcement and emergency response agencies, ambulance, and fire department.
