Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- BS in Horticulture, Agronomy or related fields
- Ability to work extended hours during the peak planting, pollinating and harvest seasons
- Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Self motivated
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to balance and prioritize tasks
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral
- Basic understanding of Greenhouse and farm equipment maintenance
- Ability to lift 40lbs
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Familiarity with Greenhouse operations and/or breeding methodologies is desired
- Familiarity with Greenhouse mechanics and maintenance
- Broad knowledge of crop production and farming practices as well as farm equipment operation and repair
-Innovative mindset
- Pesticide applicator license.
