Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
  • MS degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline with 5+ years of post graduate research experience with a focus on method/assay development for the detection of bioactive materials in biologically relevant systems
  • In lieu of an MS degree; a BS degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline with 10+ years experience with a focus on method/assay development for the detection of bioactive materials in biologically relevant systems
  • Consistent demonstration of the application of multiple technologies to the detection and distribution assessment of bioactive materials in biologically relevant systems
  • Experience with different analytical technologies and modeling approaches to predicting bio-distribution profiles
  • Excellent analytical and creative thinking, with strong problem solving skills and an ability to identify and champion relevant technologies to solve complex problems
  • An ability to work on cross-functional and international teams and adapt well to change in a complex corporate and market environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills/Experience:
  • PhD in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline        
  • Industrial experience in assay development
  • Broad knowledge of analytical techniques and detection methods
