Description

The National Sales Director for Rheumatology & Dermatology will be accountable for overseeing the development and implementation of salesforce strategy in close collaboration with marketing partners and aligned to overall commercial strategy, as well as associated financials for all in-line and launch indications in the areas of Rheumatology & Dermatology. This position will also oversee all Sales and Sales Management personnel within this franchise as well as building interdependent partnerships with a cross functional business partners to enable results and talent development.

The National Sales Director will participate as an active member of the Immunology Commercial Team.

Qualifications


Minimum undergraduate degree in life sciences or business; MBA preferred

Minimum of 10 year's relevant business experience required, including leadership roles in sales and marketing management with demonstrated track record of success in growing business and people development.

Achievement in developing and leading marketing and salesforce strategy through progressive leadership roles in health care related industries

Achievement in cultivating external relationships and partnerships and a proven strength in analyzing data to develop deep insights into the needs of patients, customers and markets to enable business growth

Achievement in building talent diversity and strength and developing and leading high performing teams

Demonstrated strength in communicating and leading organizational and divisional vision, goals, and priorities at senior levels inside and outside of the business unit

Consistent demonstration of all global leadership competencies with particular emphasis on people leadership and development, strategic thinking with big picture orientation, and innovative thinking

Experience with sales incentive design is considered an asset

Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
