Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Kaiser Permanente's Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved RNP Program approved by the board of RNs or Nurse Examiners program
- Current CA RNP
- Must have UPIN (Unique Provider ID #) or be UPIN eligible, which means MSN & National Certification
- Must have Geriatric certificate
- Fellowship trained in geriatrics/ Basic Cardiac Life Support
- CA driver's license & auto insurance as required by the state of California
- Minimum one (1) year in a geriatrics department or convalescent home
- Clinic & psycho social skills essential for acute, sub-acute, & chronic needs of elderly patients
- Knowledge of how to manage geriatric patients
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in the clinical care and management of Skilled Rehab, short term post acute stay and sub-acute patients
- Data entry skills
- Ten (10) machine experience
- Computer knowledge of MS Word application
Notes:
-This is a Per Diem position
- Travel to assigned and contracted SNF in the area
