Ideal candidate will compile and assist the internal publication of controlled project deliverable records and related files such as engineering drawings for the manufacture of company products. Candidate will support project leaders and team engineers in gathering and documenting control records for products in development. Ensure proper internal publication of control records and accurate documentation of changes thereafter. Confer with engineers to document design changes for existing products. Draw/revise detail drawings with documentation to support changes. Create and maintain record of R&D labels, and label artwork. Create and maintain record of R&D work orders. Create and manage purchase requisitions for R&D materials, components, and supplies. Interface with outside suppliers as needed. Assist in managing departmental record retention tasks. Support project leader with administrative duties and coordination of project tasks as needed. Support design reviews and pre-validation assessments to ensure the safe and environmentally sound start-up of new designs. Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level. Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.

Qualifications


Qualified candidate will have a High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A secondary degree is preferred.

Experienced in at least one CAD software program is required, preferably AutoCAD and/or Solid Works. In-depth knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, Publisher, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is essential. Knowledge of PDM systems is required, preferably Matrix One cPDM software. Knowledge of ERP/purchasing systems is required, preferably JDE and ARIBA software. Knowledge of labeling systems is preferred. Knowledge of drafting standards, experienced in reading and understanding blueprints and specifications is essential. Ability to work with various engineers to implement document changes and/or create control records is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills is preferred. Exceptional aptitude in multitasking is preferred. Strong customer services skills in a cross-functional capacity is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth company is required.
