Reporting to the Executive Director of Business Planning and Operations (BPO) in KPIT's Infrastructure Management Group (IMG), the Infrastructure Decision Support (IDS) Director will lead teams of business analysts, data/ETL analysts and report developers to implement all IDS initiatives as well as providing ongoing support for all supporting systems.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee all aspects of departmental projects from Requirements, Design, Prioritization, Development, Testing, and Support.
- Proactively communicate project statuses to stakeholders and sponsors.
- Lead the IDS Team to initiate, define, implement, and drive IT projects to completion that meets the Business requirements of the users.
- Work with BPO to create Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely (SMART) team goals then cascade and create IDS team goals
- Direct the IDS strategic planning efforts by providing vision and thought leadership relative to IMG data and analytics
- Develop the budget and plan for IDS Operational and Capital spending
- Oversee all aspects of IDS technologies and architecture such as delivery mechanisms (i.e. portals, dashboards, OLAP), data model/architecture, data integration/ETL and reporting tools.
- Oversee data quality including familiarity with data integrity issues and corresponding operational and quality service levels to the IDS environment (i.e. compliance, security, etc).
- Direct innovation and change control relative the IDS environment.
- Promote best-practices, techniques, solutions to the team through show-and-tell sessions, coaching, and mentoring.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree in related field and/or 6 years of equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible management experience in planning, budget/financial management, and staffing.
- A minimum of 8 years ofBusiness Intelligence Management/Decision Support experience required
- A minimum of 5 years of managing analytical projects, technologies and architecture required
- A minimum of 5 years experience with data quality and data modeling principles required
- Advanced knowledge of own area of functional responsibility and full knowledge of multiple related IT functions.
- Extensive experience working with business stakeholders in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
- Highly motivated and results oriented.

- Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to drive user adoption.
