Improves end to end revenue cycle data flow & identifies problems and areas of opportunity in organizational processes & technology. Oversees & ensures the accuracy & integrity of KP's financial data by monitoring systems & reviewing configurations. Maintains knowledge of & performs in accordance w/ KP's Principles of Responsibility, policies & procedures, & applicable regulatory requirements & accreditation standards. Responds appropriately to observed fraud or abuse. Maintains & supports a culture of compliance, ethics & integrity.
Essential Functions:
- Performs root cause analysis of issues, develops cross-application solution design (system and/or workflow based)
- Reviews reports for data completeness & accuracy
- Recommends modifications to established practices & procedures or system functionality as needed to support revenue cycle
- Manages implementation of recommended changes
- Works w/ internal customers to ensure newly implemented workflows & procedures support revenue cycle integrity
- Directs analysis of enterprise-wide complex customer needs
- Works closely w/ teams that configure & monitor day to day business functions in KP's electronic medical record & practice management systems
- Participates in implementation of new & existing functionality to support revenue processes & accurate, complete data flow
- Grows expertise in end to end data flow & Kaiser revenue cycle processes
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, in areas such as system analysis or maintenance, data analysis, or finance
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, science, IT, computer engineering or related area
- Master's degree or higher may be substituted for up to 2 years of experience
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems & make recommendations for solutions based on independent analysis
- Effective verbal & written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in or experience w/ Epic Systems (particularly Resolute PB, Cadence, EpicCare Ambulatory, and/or OpTime) software a plus
