Position Description: As part of the Ryder team the Specialist will handle a variety of tasks.


Requirements:

  • HS Diploma/GED and 3 (three) years related business experience (accounting/financial)or AA and 2 (two) years work experience; or a Bachelor’s degree and 1 (one) year related experience
  • Additional Requirements: • Ability to roll-out newly established processes to Ryder field locations and monitor compliance
    • Experience with building relationships/rapport with assigned areas to address unresolved items
    • Ability to Interact cross-functionally with multiple groups to insure overall goals are met
    • Experience with performing consistent follow-up based on established portfolio
    • Intermediate Microsoft Excel required – including: template creation, formulas, data formatting

    Responsibilities:

  • Uses standard analytical techniques to gather, assess and evaluate data
  • Performs intermediate level analysis and problem solving to assist in the development of business processes, products and services. Analysis includes quantifiable and qualitative results
  • Works with constituents to develop concepts
  • Typically operates as part of a team
  • Review and interpretation of business functions
  • Conducts audits and quality control/assurance practices
  • Identifies best practices
  • Performs needs assessments
  • May prepare status updates and reports for management
