Description
The Supply Chain and Global Finance organizations at Johnson & Johnson are undergoing significant change, to enable growth and value for Johnson & Johnson through a Global Integrated Supply Chain organization that optimizes services, reduces costs and enables quality and compliance, as well as the roll-out of the Global Finance shared service organization that drives significant efficiencies and improved controls. An important element in delivering the Global Supply Chain enterprise strategy is the establishment of the Back to Basics (BtB) Program.
The overall purpose for the creation of the BtB team is to translate corporate strategy into a clear picture of J&J's Enterprise Supply Chain and Global Finance business models by defining key strategic capabilities, standard processes, quality and compliance standards & supporting infrastructure. BtB is a process-based business transformation Program to deliver the Supply Chain strategic enterprise capabilities and enable Supply Chain and Finance efficiencies.
The BtB team is recruiting for a Make Process Lead. This position is based in Piscataway, NJ or within the United States. This is an enterprise wide global position.
The Make Process Lead will work with Global Process Leadership (Global Focus on Design Template and Deployment) for Manufacturing Execution. Execute core team activities related to project team deliverables to ensure successful execution and deployment, including process design, testing, documentation and cutover support. Execute the design, development and delivery of the global standard SAP processes for Make process area. Work with the deployment teams and other Subject Matter Experts to realize global business process standardization for the Make process area functions.
Major Responsibilities include: SAP Process Team Deployment Lead and Process Custodian: Facilitate alignment of key business process requirements through the implementation/adaption of the SAP standard template design. Ensure global business process standardization alignment/adoption; Adopt best common practices and processes based on industry benchmark and system design. Maintain and protect the Global Process Template. Identify business changes for incorporation into template. Understand and evaluate individual site needs and ensure they are satisfied through the global standard model or through process change or mitigations. Facilitate, through demonstration, the application of the process model to satisfy Group/Franchise strategies. Identify and propose process changes to the global template. Act as change champion to ensure process adoption.
SAP Configuration and Management: Ensure site process flows and transactions are mapped to standard template. Ensure documentation and configuration of SAP modules align business requirements with Crossroads Template.
SAP Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms (RICEF's): Ensure the solution fulfils the standard template. Ensure documentation, development, testing and delivery follow delivery methodology.
Testing and Training: Provide functional area testing preparedness and execution. Prepare string, unit and validation test scripts for all business process areas in scope, and perform unit, string and validation testing. Provide support to training materials development (localization). Provide delivery of "Train the Trainer" to designated franchise leads. Ensure Work Instructions for Crossroads are maintained. Provide global alignment for security and controls administration. Support teams with problem resolution, issue management, etc
Ongoing Governance and Deployment: Ensure leadership and execution of required change requests through the process (interface to IT support, impact analysis, release mgt, data changes, testing etc.). Ensure changes to business processes are coordinated with other process owners and backward integrated to legacy systems.
Implementation Leadership: Execute team project deliverables, including process descriptions and other CSV documentation, test development, test execution management, training support, conversion rules development from a project planning, execution and control standpoint.
Implementation Readiness: Own the evaluation and commitment to the process team's deliverables. Ensure accurate and timely execution of process team deliverables. Ensure knowledge transfer between team resources, site resources (SME's and Power Users), consultants are identified and completed.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing roles within Operations/Supply Chain or equivalent project management/deployment experience required. Strong knowledge of the business processes within responsible functional area required. Understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies required. Demonstrated hands-on project management/delivery required. Strong analytical skills required. Strong communication skills required. Demonstrated effectively working remotely with business partners required. Proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to results required. Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills required.
Understanding of Supply Chain technologies and end-to-end business/IT architecture, SAP, middleware, etc. strongly desired. Completion of a full life cycle implementation with SAP for the relevant process area in the life sciences industry desired. Experience working in an FDA regulated environment with an emphasis on Validation & Compliance of systems and processes is preferred. Experience working with multiple franchises and sectors within J&J is desired. Experience authoring functional specifications and translating those requirements to the technical team desired. Experience developing test scripts and test plans desired. Experience with multiple industries or across multiple sectors desired. Experience working across multiple sites/organization desired. International experience; global mindset desired. Process excellence lean experience desired. Strong leadership skills desired. Professional Certification (i.e. C.P.M. or CPIM or CSCP) desirable. Six Sigma Black/Green Belt desirable.
Domestic/International travel is required up to 50% of the time. Peak periods of travel may be near 100% for 1-2 months around go-lives.
