Description

The Supply Chain and Global Finance organizations at Johnson & Johnson are undergoing significant change, to enable growth and value for Johnson & Johnson through a Global Integrated Supply Chain organization that optimizes services, reduces costs and enables quality and compliance, as well as the roll-out of the Global Finance shared service organization that drives significant efficiencies and improved controls. An important element in delivering the Global Supply Chain enterprise strategy is the establishment of the Back to Basics (BtB) Program.

The overall purpose for the creation of the BtB team is to translate corporate strategy into a clear picture of J&J's Enterprise Supply Chain and Global Finance business models by defining key strategic capabilities, standard processes, quality and compliance standards & supporting infrastructure. BtB is a process-based business transformation Program to deliver the Supply Chain strategic enterprise capabilities and enable Supply Chain and Finance efficiencies.

The BtB team is recruiting for a Testing Manager. This position is based in Piscataway, NJ or remotely. This is an enterprise wide global position.

The Testing Manager has primary responsibility and accountability for ensuring that the solution is tested adequately to fulfill business, quality and compliance requirements. The position will be individually accountable to lead and coordinate testing with the project core team and the franchises for all future deployments and will be the primary keeper of the test methodology.

Key responsibilities include:

Maintains the overall testing strategy and methodology in accordance with the J&J SDLC methodology and the Compliance Plan.

Ensures testing approach and outcome meets FDA Computer System Validation requirements.

Leads development of the test plan for each test cycle across multiple deployments.

Manages scope and adherence to schedule, including coordinating plans and schedule with the sites and other dependent programs.

Directs testing activities for the entire program, including five Business Process Teams, site Subject Matter Experts, and the supporting teams, including IT technical support, to ensure effective cross team coordination, rapid resolution of defects, and appropriate prioritization and adjustments, as needed, to maintain testing schedule.

Defines, publishes and maintains test planning and execution playbook for future deployments, encompassing testing best practices and the lessons learned from previous test cycles.

Develops strategy for regression testing, including the tactical plan, and leads the regression testing effort.

Defines and leads the strategy for stress and performance testing.

Defines and leads the strategy for business simulation ("day in the life") testing.

Defines program approach to test automation and leads the optimal use of testing tools such as HP-QC to support various testing cycles.

Qualifications


Must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree.

Experience:

Must have a minimum 10 years of business or IT experience.

Experience with leading testing in large scale ERP implementations required.

Experience with FDA and SOX compliance requirements.

Demonstrated hands-on project management skills required.

Experience leading testing in a highly complex multi-application multi-organization landscape required.

Experience with multiple industries or across multiple sectors desired.

International experience - global mindset required.

Strong leadership skills in a collaborative, team based environment required.

Consulting and influencing skills desired.

Experience with HP suite of testing tools desired.

Experience with SAP, especially SAP Supply Chain applications including ECC, SCM/APO, and SNP desired.

Experience with supply chain processes including manufacturing, procurement, quality management, inventory management, and manufacturing finance (product costing)

Understanding of FDA and SOX compliance requirements

Understanding of middleware and integrations required.

Experience leading testing in a highly complex multi-application multi-organization landscape required.

Excellent written and oral, communication, presentation and facilitation skills required.

Physical Demands/Location

Global position

If staffed outside current deploying area must be willing to adapt to flexible schedule to meet time-zone requirements of deploying region.

The work environment is a normal office setting.

Domestic/International travel is required up to 50% of the time. Peak periods of travel may be near 100% for 1-2 months around go-lives.
