The Actuarial Services department provides actuarial and analytic support to the pricing, reserving, and financial areas of Kaiser Permanente. This includes budgeting, strategic planning, regulatory requirements and preparations specific to health care reform.
This internship will focus on the following projects:
Support for developing compliance around health care reform, including:
- Experience reporting
- Development of automated rate filings support documentation
- Premium analysis (impact due to reform requirements)
- Pricing support for product development.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
College students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
3.0 GPA or above
Academic students seeking professional training within a business corporate environment.
Analytical, relationship building, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Leadership potential.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
