A key Sales and Account Management role with a global pharmaceutical leader

We are currently sourcing for sales professional to influence key stakeholders in the primary and secondary care sectors. As an Account Manager, reporting to the Regional Account Manager, your key responsibility will be to act as ambassador for the wider company to meet sales targets, managing and developing your accounts and owning the relationship between Janssen and the account for your allocated brands. Your primary source of contacts will be clinicians and pharmacists at all levels within hospitals and hospital departments. The role will involve:
- analysing and interpreting account strategies and plans to gain a broad understanding of the clients' business environment
- building strong networks of relationships to identify mutually beneficial opportunities
- capturing intelligence to support the business planning processes
- the presentation of brand value propositions and projects to influence prescribing behaviours.
You will gain access to key customers building solid business relationships. In addition you will be required to keeping up to date with the local NHS structure, policies and key influencers as well as monitor changes in the NHS whilst responding to influence such as nurses, pharmacists and health managers.
Qualifications
Almost certainly a graduate, you'll have a proven track record in pharmaceutical account management and sales. Your clear ability to develop customer needs into mutually beneficial partnerships will be underpinned by the capability for strategic thinking and a clear focus on performance and results. Although with a sense of urgency and capacity for prudent risk-taking, you'll have the intellectual curiosity to identify and match precisely client needs to the Janssen brand portfolio
