Leads, plans and manages engineering requirements through capital budget management, project execution (plant capital & corporate) and effectively manages engineering personnel in a variety of disciplines. Develops and executes brewery five (5) year plan.
Leads, manages and coordinates engineering services and assists customer departments by means of analyzing specific problems, formulating practical solutions and procuring and installing necessary components to advance and optimize brewery operations.
Responsible for the safety and quality of our products by adhering to all rules, regulations, policies, programs and related MillerCoors SQF guidelines. Responsible for contractor safety and GMP compliance.
· 4-year Engineering/Maintenance degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree in Business Management, Project Management or Engineering preferred
· Minimum of five (5) years in an Engineering/Maintenance leadership/managerial position in a manufacturing environment.
· Experience in a managerial position leading a salaried exempt workforce.
· Knowledge of brewing and packaging processes preferred.
· Corporate engineering experience with multiple plant support and experience preferred.
· Must be able to organize and administer multi-disciplinary capital and expense project budgets providing sound engineering direction, accurate budget forecast, engineering leadership and cost analysis relating to budgetary impact.
· Must have strong interpersonal skills.
· Must be thoroughly knowledgeable in all phases of engineering, project management and related management functions.
· Must be able to develop and motivate engineering subordinates and work team members to ensure successful project implementation and continuous improvement.
· Must have good working knowledge of OSHA Standards, Plant Safety Rules and Regulations.
· Knowledge of Asset Care and World Class Manufacturing practices.
