This position will be responsible for (1) supporting the development of the strategic direction by assisting in the definition of a digital roadmap, spanning web, social, mobile, voice and video channels (2) driving the next-generation digital foundation that will enable Kaiser Permanente to broaden its leadership position and (3) work with groups across the organization to build consensus for the strategy and delivering a quantifiable return on the digital investment.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position provides support and direction for the development and delivery of the digital health technology infrastructure strategy. This is a strategy role within Digital Health Technology and accountable for developing infrastructure necessary to deploy web, voice, video, mobile and social media solutions. This position will also be responsible for identifying and adopting new technologies to strengthen and improve the availability of our digital infrastructure.

Under the direction of the Director, Digital Health Strategy, this individual will (1) establish working relationships across all facets of the business including Marketing, Engineering and Product Development, Sales, and Channels organizations to provide direction and guidance to matrixed teams in several technical fields, including devices, security, network, servers, storage and database design and administration (2) be responsible for focusing resources on situations requiring intense short-term and/or long-term effort in order to deliver the necessary infrastructure to enable and integrate with internal systems.

Serve as the liaison between the Digital Health Strategy Team and the broader KP IT groups to ensure alignment and coordination of Digital Health Technology roadmap and initiatives.

To support this work, this individual will need to partner with critical technical or operational organizations and senior leaders to facilitate and foster key relationships that will provide influence and feedback in developing the Digital Health Technology Infrastructure Strategy, roadmap and business case. Groups requiring this engagement include, but ARE not limited to:

- Digital Health Technology Strategic Initiative teams to develop the various elements of the Digital Health Technology Strategy.
- Innovations and Advanced Technology team in brainstorming innovation ideas that will influence the direction of the Digital Health Strategy.
- IT Finance, Digital Health Technology Strategy leadership team and organizational leaders in developing a comprehensive Digital Health Technology Strategy business case that will be taken to the CAC and Board of Directors for approval.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- B.S/ B.A. in a related field preferred and/or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in solutions consulting including defining requirements, developing solution alternatives and estimates and translating client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for large complex IT solutions.
- 5 years of Mobile Infrastructure background
- 5 years of Infrastructure Management experience in large complexenterprise environment
- Mastery of highly-matrixed organizations & program/product development areas.
- Seasoned business and/or IT leader experienced in leading successful development and implementation of large complex programs/projects with cross-functional representation.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing complex organizational initiatives involving multiple functions and multiple business units, including the identification and articulation of problems, influencing decision-making process, as well as delivery of expected results.
- Proven collaboration and partnering experience
- Proven program management skills and experience
- Experience with design or implementation one or more of the following infrastructure components: Voice, Video, Unified Communications, wireless, mobile, cloud, social, virtualization

- Master's Degree
- Experience with mobile app deployment
