Johnson & Johnson Services, Inc., a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies is recruiting for a Supervisor, Occupational Health located in Cincinnati, OH.

The Supervisor, Occupational Health, will assist the Senior Supervisor, Occupational Health in the management and administration of health services at assigned locations. Ensures delivery of integrated services in accordance with Johnson & Johnson Occupational Health and regulatory guidelines. Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of Global Health Policies and the ability to integrate Health programs and policies with business operations. Leads a team of Health professionals and facilitates teamwork and effective communications within the team. Supervises and evaluates the performance of the nursing staff in terms of patient care, staff relationships and efficiency of service. Manages the review and implementation of clinical protocols, practice guidelines, health promotion and disease prevention programs and services at specific locations. Functions as the primary resource to Occupational Health clinic staff for information, problem solving and decision making related to clinical practice issues. Responsible for integrating mental health, occupational health, population health and personal health into a developed comprehensive employee health program at individual locations. Manages the development and implementation of site business plans that incorporates WW Global Health strategic goals and objectives into operating company business plans. Ensures company compliance to regulatory and J&J requirements in all applicable practice areas. Responsible for the development and monitoring of budgets. Provides expertise for occupational case management and interfaces with risk management, business leaders, to evaluate case management outcomes. Manages the development of program and process improvements to risk assessments and inclusion of employees in Medical Surveillance programs. Oversees the identification of medical surveillance trends and recommendations related to findings. Responsible for compiling and analyzing data in order to achieve continuous improvement for Health Services. Accountable for evaluating the performance of the staff members and identify opportunities to enhance technical and business and leadership skills. Motivates others to achieve high quality outcomes; leads team to implement and manage innovation and change; drives business results. Responsible for interceding on behalf of the staff with operating company management for problem solving, decision making, etc. Responsible for addressing customer concerns, problem resolution and conflict management.

Qualifications


Candidates must have or be eligible for a current OH state RN License. Minimum of a Bachelor Degree or equivalent knowledge in management of health services is required. Active Certification as a Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or Board Certification eligibility is required. Minimum 5 years of diverse health care and business experience is required. Minimum 3 years of direct supervisory experience is required. All candidates must possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills as extensive interaction with team members, customers and management is required. A demonstrated excellence in addressing customer concerns and problem resolution is required. Working knowledge of regulatory areas (i.e.: ADA, OSHA, FMLA, Workers' Comp., STD/LTD) is required. This position is based in OH and requires approximately 15% U.S. travel outside of Ohio.
