Description

Janssen R&D, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for three (3) one-year Global Medical Safety Post-Doctoral fellowship positions, located in Horsham, PA.
The position involves evaluating adverse events and other safety concerns of marketed products across Johnson & Johnson companies worldwide. The fellow will provide support to pharmacovigilance activities such as analysis of safety data and the preparation of standard reports for the evaluation of product safety such as surveillance reports of adverse event report frequency, review of product quality data, support of health hazard evaluations (for potential recalls), participate in preparation, analysis, and writing of ad-hoc and aggregate regulatory reports of safety data, and labeling support documents. The position will involve evaluating the safety profile of drugs from a diverse range of therapeutic areas encompassing biologics, oncology, virology, cardiovascular, infectious disease, internal medicine, pain management, central nervous system, women's health, and reproductive medicine. Additionally, the fellow will have the opportunity to interact with members of various departments within Johnson & Johnson and improve verbal communication skills through professional presentations and team meetings.

Qualifications


The Global Medical Safety Fellow has an advanced academic degree in the health-care discipline (PharmD or PhD). Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not required.
