Description
- Provide Quality point of contact for Global Supply Chain with select Preferred Suppliers and EMs
- Provide Quality Leadership in support of External Manufacturing Outsourcing programs
- Provide guidance and support to the SQE team in Switzerland
- Work with Preferred Supplier and EM locations to:

o Assist in development of Risk Management & Quality Control documentation

o Conduct Process Capability Studies

o Drive cost improvement with the use of Process Excellence tools

o Develop and manage First Article Inspections as required at suppliers or within DePuy

o Develop supplier capability in risk assessment such as PFMEA

o Manage training and certification of operators and inspectors to CTQs with the suppliers as required

o Develop and implement efficient and effective inspection points and control plans at the supplier that will provide Ship To Stock status
- Actively support all defined External Manufacturing Quality Systems goals and objectives
- Conduct on-site technical and process assessments at preferred and EM suppliers both to approve new suppliers and on an ongoing basis
- Promote continuous improvement and Process Excellence activities within the Global Supply Chain
- Review and approve Validation of new/changed production processes as required
- Resolve problems and eliminate constraints to ensure project and supply targets are met
- Ensure suppliers continue to met DePuy Quality requirements with regards to change management
- Ensure effective and timely closure of all Supplier Corrective Action Requests
- Represent Supplier Quality at Supplier Management Committees meeting and Franchise Management Business reviews
- Maintain standards of housekeeping and GMP requirements
- Represent the Supply Process Quality Assurance function as required by management

Qualifications

- A minimum of a BA/BS degree or equivalent in an Engineering/Quality/Science discipline. Master degree in a Technical or Science field is preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Quality or Engineering Function within a Medical Device Company or other similar regulated industry
- Fluent in English (oral and written)

An asset :
- Process Excellence - Green/Black belt certification
- ISO 9001/13485 Internal/External Auditor or ASQ Certification as an Auditor
- Experienced in SPC
- Previous People management experience
- Project management experience
- Previous experience of product transfers/start up
