Wellness & Prevention, Inc., a member of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is recruiting for a Business Analyst. This position is located in Ann Arbor, MI.

Wellness & Prevention (W&P) is the global leader in online delivery of behavior change interventions. Our behavioral support programs create unique health improvement plans for each individual. This plan and the subsequent continued care plans teach the participant how to achieve his or her individual goals.

W&P programs cover a wide range of health issues. Examples include: Health and Wellness - weight management, smoking cessation, stress management, Disease Management - Diabetes, Pain Management, Medication Adherence, and Behavioral Health - Insomnia, Depression.

We are searching for a software engineer to work in our Services and Support department. The successful candidate will be self-starting, have customer-focused vision, and a strong sense of urgency.

Specific responsibilities will include;

Serve in the role of a systems analyst as a part of a software project cross functional core team: Works with Product Owner to decompose Requirements into more detailed functional, non-functional requirements. Elicits functional requirements, which define the internal workings of the software, including the solution specification details, data manipulations, data processing and other specific functionality that show how the use cases / scenarios are to be satisfied. Elicits non-functional requirements, which specify criteria that can be used to judge the operation of a system, rather than specific behaviors. Reviews test strategy and signs off on test cases after QA walkthrough. Assures that the Market Requirements can be traced to Functional and Non-Functional requirements / specifications.

Work closely with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Quality functions to ensure alignment and joint accountability for successful achievement of project goals. Core Team representative of the Business Analysis function on projects. Work independently on mid to large size projects (> $700k) High complexity, Heavy customer involvement, and High profile. Heavy cross-functional involvement with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications


A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of 3 years experience as a business or systems analyst supporting software development projects is required. Strong communication skills and ability to work with many levels of the organization are required. Requirement elicitation techniques and skills (Analytical, Modeling, Facilitation, Observational, and Organizational) are required. Proficiency with MS Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio or equivalent software is required.

The following are preferred; A MIS / CIS / CS / Engineering Degree. A Professional Services / Consulting Background. Experience with collaborative team software tools like SharePoint, JIRA, Rally. Experience in the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical Industry.
