ETHICON Operations is a department of Johnson & Johnson MEDICAL GmbH. It is Europe`s largest and most up to date production facility for surgical suture material, suture needles and absorbable, partially-absorbable and non-absorbable implants.

Tasks

- Lead the Needles Manufacturing Processes
- Support the Business Unit Manager in the delegation of priorities and resources
- Leadership of Production Supervisors
- Support the integration of new products into production
- Identify, analyze and convert opportunities for improvement regarding quality, cost reduction, customer focus and environmental health & safety.
- Implement all changes to the product/process into the production system

Qualifications


- Degree Level Education / Master degree in Business / Logistics / Supply Chain / Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a complex Operations / Supply Chain / Logistics environment, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Knowledge of complex supply chain organization and logistics
- Trained in Lean Principles and / or in Process Excellence experience (Black Belt / Green Belt)
- Thorough knowledge of engineering techniques associated with project management
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision making and communication skills
- Ability to lead and drive goal completion by influence across different cultures
- Exposure to strongly regulated quality environment is an asset
- Fluent in English (verbal, reading and writing)
- Fluency in German is requiered
- Sound presentation skills
- Knowledgeable computer skills
