Qualifications
Candidates must have a
- Ph.D. in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 1+ year's relevant experience
- Candidates must demonstrate business aptitude, the ability to rapidly learn new problem domains, and become conversant in the domain with business users
- Theoretical and practical experience in deterministic optimization and algorithm development related to operations management is a requirement, including experience with commercial optimization software (i.e., CLPEX, Xpress, Gurobi)
Desired skills/ experience:
- Experience in laboratory science or agriculture
- Experience with software development and architecture related to operations research or artificial intelligence and experience in developing and solving network flow problems for planning, scheduling, and space utilization
