Coventry’s Medicaid Division is committed to guiding our members in achieving better health outcomes, to serving all of our stakeholders with the highest levels of service, and to supporting our state customers in meeting their goals. We are currently seeking an Outreach Events Coord to join our team.

 

This position is responsible for developing, facilitating, and implementing outreach activities, special events, programs, and presentations which support member education and health plan awareness within the Medicaid or Medicare population and the community. May be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with community leaders. Maintains marketing guideline compliance with the appropriate state’s laws and regulations.

 

 

 
Qualifications:

The successful incumbent will have a high school degree or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous (3-5 years) customer service experience required. Previous experience working with the Medicaid or Medicare population preferred. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred.  Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.  Ability to work independently. Ability to use standard corporate software packages and applications. Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule; some evenings and weekends may be required. Minimal overnight travel may be required.
