Job Text

Plans and executes Asset Care strategy for Brewing. Provides input on technology based on requirements. Oversees optimal functioning, continual upgrading and acquisition of equipment and technology while supporting NPP/D and other capital projects. Responsible for leading and advancing MillerCoors Manufacturing Way principles and work practices.

Drives functional problem solving, equipment improvement, process and technology improvement. Develops OEM relationships.

Manages the PEST or BEST Team(s) Leaders (Mechanical/ Electrical) and assists the department in performance execution by analyzing specific problems, formulating a practical solution and procuring and installing necessary components to advance and optimize the operation. Coordinates engineering requirements through capital planning. Responsible for the safety and quality of our products by adhering to all rules, regulations, policies, programs and related MillerCoors. Ensures Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification which includes HACCP, GMP and housekeeping standards.

Education level and/or experience



  • 4-year Engineering/Maintenance degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree in Business Management, Project Management or Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years in an Engineering/Maintenance leadership/managerial position in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of brewing and packaging processes preferred. 
  • Corporate engineering experience

Skills and/or knowledge


  • Must be able to organize and administer multi-disciplinary capital and expense project budgets providing sound engineering direction, accurate budget forecast, engineering leadership and cost analysis relating to budgetary impact.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be thoroughly knowledgeable in all phases of engineering, project management and related management functions.
  • Must be able to develop and motivate engineering subordinates and work team members to ensure successful project implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Must have good working knowledge of OSHA Standards, Plant Safety Rules and Regulations.
  • Must be computer literate and competent in ProMag use.
  • Knowledge of Asset Care and World Class Manufacturing practices.
