Responsible for leading the design, build, implementation and support of Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions, with a focus on SAP Business Objects technologies. Provide direction to both on- and off-shore vendor teams engaged in project delivery and application maintenance.  Maintain technical expertise with BO tools and stay current on industry trends and best practices.  Collaborate with IT Business Partners and Architects to ensure that solutions meet business process requirements and designs are consistent with IT strategies.
 
Preferred Qualifications and Education Level:
·5-10 years experience designing and developing IT solutions, with at least 5 of them working with the Business Objects suite of products.  
·Bachelorâ s degree
 
Skills and Experience:
·Significant experience with BO design and development best practices.
·Significant experience with BO toolsets, especially BO Designer, WebIntelligence and Crystal Reports
·Excellent data analysis and SQL skills with a strong foundation in data modeling and data warehousing concepts,
·Understanding of the BO Central Management Console and BO environment management
·Proven ability to mentor and coach less experienced team members.
·Experience leading distributed teams and managing external consultants.
·Firm grounding in IT solution development standards and best practices.
