We are seeking strong Technical Staff to join the CD BIO Data Services team. Data Services partners with Kaiser Permanente Business & IT teams to provide integration solutions that span across the organization.
We currently have an opening for an Integration Engineer, responsible for managing the technical lifecycle of SOA web service integrations in strategic technology projects.
Essential Functions:
- Hands-on Technical expert for SOA web service integrations.
- Works closely with the solution architects to support the integration deployment and ensure operational readiness
- Care and Feeding of solution components across the infrastructure stack
- Takes ownership of escalated issues and tracks them to closure
- Contribute to design of new solution components
- Interact with the integration consumers to track down technical answers to HealthConnect and SOA service questions.
- Disaster Recovery planning, testing and verification deployed code components
- Assist in the development and management of operational dashboards

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field and/or 4 years of equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in systems administration or development and supporting large applications using various tools and technologies.
- Hands-on experience in
- SOA design/development/architecture with Cache and C# Design and Development.
- Middleware Technology Architecture, Design, Development and Best Practices.
-WSRR and DataPower
-Web Application Security and single sign on technologies, SSL, Certificates Management, WS- Security
-SOAP/HTTP/XML/REST/Web Services
-Unix / Linux experience, including scripting
-Interconnect and Cache
- Highly adaptive, quick learner, efficient in multitasking and goal oriented
- Ability to work effectively under aggressive deadlines and in challenging settings
- Excellent problem-solving, strategic and systems analysis and complex decision making skills.
- Experience in a 24x7 customer support environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a team and contribute independently.
- Hands-on experience with Open source development and testing tools - soapUI
- XML experience
- Epic, Cache and Interconnect experience
- Epic certification in Chronicles, Systems Administration or Bridges
- Epic application certification
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP networking
- Strong oral and written communication and documentation, collaboration and presentation skills
