Job Text

We are seeking a passionate beer merchant to grow our business through our regional chain partners.  This position will be responsible for driving our commercial strategies through our MillerCoors chain netwok and will be held accountable for volume, share and profit growth in your assigned accounts.

 

You will develop strategies that align against the focus channels for the region you support and lead the communication and implementation plan for new product introductions, training on craft and import beer, developing appropriate selling strategies and approaching and building value enhancing relationships with retailers.

 

The successful candidate for this position will have a strong passion for beer, knowledge of the craft and import beer segment, a minimum of 6 years of commercial experience (sales or marketing preferred) and a minimum of a bachelors’ degree.  Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential for this position.

 

Mobility:  To further your career in the organization, future mobility will be required.

Travel:  Approximately 40% travel is associated with this position.




§ Accountable for profitably managing business results (volume, share, profit) for assigned  Region and specified core chain account(s).





§ Develops the account sales plan and facilitates its implementation against identified core accounts

§ Builds value-enhancing relationships with identified retailers through category management application, responsive problem solving and proactive relationship management





§ Develops, maintains and communicates an actionable strategy against identified channels





§ Responsible for educating and teaching  region chain members about the C&I segment and appropriate use of tools to support driving the business

§ Ensures that products and programs are sold to and executed in chain retailers by coordinating the sales, distribution, and program execution through chain buying offices and MillerCoors system Drives

§ Interfaces and coordinates with Chain Sales Managers  on plans, budgeting, new item roll-out strategy and through regular management routines

§ Engages with local account executives as required to support the Tenth & Blake priorities and provides thought leadership to  support RCD in the development of a longer term strategy for the Tenth & Blake business in chain
