MillerCoors - Albany Georgia Brewery has an opening for a Packaging Maintenance Mechanic. Candidate should have experience in maintaining, troubleshooting and improving mechanical equipment/systems and performance in a high speed manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes: experience that demonstrates good work performance, maintains optimism and demonstrates the ability to maintain positive demeanor and "can do" attitude in spite of setbacks, disappointments or adversity. Maintains self confidence in ability to make a difference. Self initiates opportunities, good problem solving and analytical skills and uses that knowledge in maintaining and trouble shooting equipment.
The successful candidate must possess the following:
Minimum of 3 years experience in maintaining and trouble shooting mechanical equipment/systems, preferably with high speed packaging equipment in the food/beverage industry. Skilled in operation of lathes, milling machines, drill presses and other machine tools and metal fabrication equipment. Skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including the ability to read schematics of each. Experienced in at least two of the following welding applications: Arc, Tig, Mig, cutting/brazing. Must possess basic electrical knowledge and experience. Must have experience and knowledge related to reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics and flow diagrams. Familiar with plant systems such as email, production schedules and work order systems.
All candidates must be capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs and able to service equipment throughout the brewery.
All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and physical and written skill assessment test.
