Qualifications
A BS, MS, or PhD in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Quantitative Genetics or a related life science area with demonstrated computational/bioinformatics experience and 2 or more years post educational experience in data analysis, integration and visualization are required.
Excellent knowledge of the latest data integration techniques, data visualization methods, bioinformatics tools, ontologies, data mining approaches, and databases querying is required.
Technical skills with Pipeline Pilot, Spotfire, PERL, Java, Javascript, and SQL is highly desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication and networking skills and the ability to interact with research and IT scientists are essential requirements.
