Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- BS in Agronomy, Plant Science, Biology or related field
- Broad knowledge of crop production, farming practices, and farm equipment operation and repair
- Ability to travel to offsite locations and work extended hours during the peak planting, pollinating, and harvest seasons
- Self motivated and able to work in fast pace environment
- Demonstrated experience taking initiative to achieve quality results in a timely manner
- Ability to work effectively independently or within a team
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral
- Basic computer skills utilizing MS Word and MS Excel
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Pesticide applicators license or ability to obtain a license
- Class A CDL or ability to obtain one is also preferred
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with farmers/cooperators
