Our national managed care company is seeking a Manager, Testing in our  Moon Township, PA Service Center.

This is a highly visible role dealing with business partners across the division and corporation, and being a part of motivating a dynamic team!


 


The candidate must be able to develop, implement, and manage all defined testing initiatives within Coventry’s Customer Service Organization (CSO) associated with the IDX Managed Care system.  The candidate must be able to design complete testing scenarios and provide technical leadership in conjunction with the IT team and the CSO business leadership.

 

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES


- Develops, implements, and manages a corporate testing unit within CSO charged with developing comprehensive progressive and regressive testing plans related to system enhancements and improved business processes for all areas of the CSO business.
- Acts as a general technical resource liaison between system users and IT.
- Provides analytical feedback on testing results to move projects to completion within defined timelines.
- Manages and coordinates team to implement a broad range of projects by coordinating resources and fostering staff development and work standards.
- Establishes collaborative relationships with internal and external customers to optimize the experience, skill, knowledge, and capability of team.
- Recruits, develops, and motivates staff. Initiates and communicates a variety of personnel actions including employment, termination, performance reviews, salary reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Significant (7-10 years) related health care experience.
- Previous (1-3 years) supervisory or project lead experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Significant system experience, preferable IDX Managed Care.
- Prior testing experience, preferable SDLC software development life cycle
- Demonstrated leadership and motivation skills.
- Excellent project and process management skills.
Other:

- Ability to initiate and drive change; demonstrated results-driven approach.
- Ability to develop and implement service strategies.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, conflict resolution and communication skills.
