Position Overview
The Director, Marketing Technology Centre of Excellence (CoE) leads the development and implementation of strategies and plans to enable the Janssen & Immunology Sales and Marketing divisions to build and deploy competitive capabilities that will enhance our ability to communicate with, support and influence our customers, in addition to managing the delivery of health care solutions that will grow our business.
The Director of the Marketing Technology CoE will provide strategy and leadership in 3 main areas:
Digital and Multi-Channel Marketing
Patient Support Program Marketing
Primary Care Health Care Solutions
Collaborate with leaders in sales and marketing to define a vision and strategy to most effectively deploy a marketing technology COE to lead the organization in building new competitive capabilities
Develop and implement short and long- term plans to achieve and embed the CoE's vision
Lead and develop a high performance team
Participate strategically as member of the Sales and Marketing Leadership Team and the Immunology Leadership Team to develop and implement the Sales and Marketing strategy and plan
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
University Education, MBA Preferred
Success in senior leadership roles in the development of strategy to support marketing and/or information technology, with a focus on the creation, utilization and execution of alternate promotional channels
Expertise leveraging technology platforms that have delivered enhanced and differentiated customer value
Experience leading strategies to create technology driven customer facing applications (digital strategy development, call centre management, development of customer service web portals, and e-marketing campaigns). Significant digital strategy experience is required.
Experience developing programs that provide the best healthcare for patients in partnership with customers
Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and working in an emerging area and taking a lead role for the organization in building new direction and new competencies
Demonstration of required J&J leadership competencies with particular strength in innovative solutions competencies of strategic thinking and intellectual curiosity including ability to envision progress, cultivate new ideas, drive change and deliver business results, keeping the customer central to thinking
Demonstrated strength in the areas of organization and talent development
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Bilingual in English and French is an asset
