In this role, you will supervise and manage Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy personnel, provide clinical services to patients and families as needed, oversee volunteer and student/internship placements, develop and evaluate the program in collaboration with the director, and fiscally manage assigned units and/or programs.

In the position of Manager, Child Life & Creative Arts Therapist, the candidate must be a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS), a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or a Certified Creative Arts Therapist (MT-BC or ATR-BC). A Bachelor’s degree in Child Life, Therapeutic Recreation, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Creative Arts Therapies and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Child Life Specialist or Pediatric Art or Music Therapist are required; Master’s degree preferred.

This role requires experience and knowledge of the growth and development of infants, children and adolescents. You must have the ability to work independently, set goals, prioritize and achieve results in accordance with the highest standards. You must perform your work according to CHOP Policies and procedures, professional standards of care and applicable laws.
