The position provides analytical, training and project management support for the regional ROI team, medical center operations and TPMG leadership. The Sr. Analyst ensures that performance data is properly managed and monitored to ensure all stakeholders can make informed decisions regarding ROI operations. The Sr. Analyst also develops training and support tools to address workflow that require improvement and/or that require adjustment due to changes in laws and regulations. Work is assigned from within the department but is intended at times for stakeholders external to the department. In general, the final work product will be reviewed by the ROI Practice Leader or other regional TPMG leaders (for example Regional Directors or Associate Executive Directors).
Essential Functions:
- Collate weekly and monthly performance data for regular distribution to ROI stakeholders.
- Prepares reports synthesizing analytical results, highlighting implications of findings.
- Develop and implement training job aids.
- Develop manager training presentation materials and talking points with input from Sr. Consultant and Practice Leader.
- Periodically deliver webex or in person workflow presentations and facilitate Q&A sessions.
- Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) interrater reviews and provide feedback to medical center ROI QA resources.
- Conduct periodic site visits at ROI units in NCAL to assess training needs and validate standard workflows.
- Triages support questions from Medical Center. Manages responses and notifications. Escalates critical issues as needed.
- Develop and maintain ROI FAQ database.
- Trend performance data and provide analysis of results.
- Manages and maintains ROI wiki page to ensure information provided is current and complete.
- Tracks usage and provides feedback and training to users.
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Typically three (3) or more years of related analytical and/or consulting experience required.
- Health care experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or other related field.
- Masters degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues and propose methodological solutions.
- Synthesizes analyses well, highlights implications of findings.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis.
- Possesses technical expertise in some areas.
- Must demonstrate effective communication, consulting, interpersonal, and presentation.
- Proficient w/ PC applications including spreadsheet, word processing, and graphics packages.
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of analytical and/or project management experience in a healthcare environment.
