The Program Manager II is responsible for designing and leading programs associated with Health Care Reform. This position may manage specific aspects of one or more programs within the Health Care Reform PMO organization.

Overall responsibilities will include the following:

Essential Functions
- Develop a thorough understanding of all relevant program components and their interdependencies
- Lead moderately complex work streams and manage clear delivery ofbenefit exchangeprojects
- Synthesize analysis and highlight implications of findings in order to propose key alternatives/recommendations
- Analyze and provide guidance on accurate budget estimates for tasks required to manage a program
- Develop an understanding of client's business and apply this knowledge to suggest appropriate approaches, tools and techniques to address problems
- Communicate strategic value and gain commitment from key stakeholders and team members
- Proactively analyze and evaluate existing processes
- Effectively communicate complex data analyses, methodology and implications with program teams and customer/client
- Adapt efficiently to changing circumstances and seek alternative ways of achieving program implementation goals
- Understand and help develop the drivers of business value for care delivery programs
- Anticipate issues, weigh practical considerations, address issues and seek input from engagement manager/sponsor to resolve
- Analyze and provide guidance on accurate budget estimates for program tasks
- Contribute to the planning, development and delivery of local education and training programs
- Prioritize key tasks and ensure the appropriate allocation of time and effort to achieve the required results

Qualifications:

Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of five years of program management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in health care, business administration, or related field required
- KP's Advanced Qualification Designation for Level II
- Requires full knowledge of own area of functional responsibility and working knowledge of another function

Preferred:
- Master's degree
- 2+ years of consulting experience
- Prior health care experience is a plus
