Medical Devices & Diagnostics Global Services, LLC., is recruiting for a Supply Chain Planning Manager to support the Ortho Clinical Diagnostics franchise. The ideal candidate will be located in Raritan, NJ or Rochester, NY or Toronto, Canada. Other US key locations in the North East will also be considered if they are in proximity of either Raritan or Rochester.

The Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for managing and delivering accurate worldwide demand and replenishment forecasts and managing the Global Sales and Operations Planning Process to drive business decisions for various product families within Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics. Responsibilities include sales forecasting, replenishment planning, inventory and service management, scenario planning, risk analysis, and support of global allocation planning for current products as well as new product launches and produce discontinuances. Identification of drivers of key performance metrics and action plans to meet/exceed business targets with a focus on global profitability is key.

The Supply Chain Planning Manager will be responsible for implementing process improvements to continue to mature the Sales and Operations Planning Process as the strategic decision making process for the business. Building effective relationships and partnering cross-functionally to develop solutions to a variety of problems with varying levels of scope and complexity, as well as exercising judgment to determine appropriate courses of action is part of the day-to-day business. The Supply Chain Planning Manager ensures understanding of the business issues cross-functionally and communicates the consequences arising from trade-offs concerning planning activities as well as proposals to ensure business goals are met. This individual also presents information cross-functionally at key planning meetings.

The Supply Chain Planning Manager will also ensure that the appropriate planning processes and systems are in place and are compliant with various corporate policies and manage various projects to continue to mature the planning processes. The Supply Chain Planning Manager provides leadership and vision to continually reduce forecast error while increasing customer service levels and managing global key result metrics. This position also has responsibility for leading and managing others.

Qualifications


A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required. An advanced degree i.e. MBA is preferred. A minimum of 3 years experience in Supply Chain or a related field is required; however 8 plus years experience is preferred as well as experience managing others. Strong project management experience, analytical skills, and communication skills are required. APICS and PEX certifications are highly preferred. Cross functional experience with departments across Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing is also preferred. Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office is required. Systems knowledge i.e. Advance Planning Systems, JDE, SAP, and Crossroads is preferred.
