Position Overview:

Leadership of the Consumer and Lifescan Customer & Logistics Services teams that drive joint value creation activities, logistics efficiency activities, and customer top-to-top supply chain meetings and key contact for communication to our customers. The director is a member of the Sales Leadership and Business Leadership Teams, and drives business process improvements through the collaboration of a cross-functional leadership team including Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics representatives.

Responsible for Order to Cash process for Consumer and Lifescan business units for $1.2 Billion in sales revenue

Responsible for the CLS OGSM and alignment with each business unit, establishing customer service performance reviews and action plans to drive operational excellence and the revenue cycle.

Develop superior Customer collaboration capabilities and relationships which enhance our mutual success, growth as well as reduce cost and complexity within the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Leads a diverse team of professionals to provide key customers with efficient forecasting, replenishment, and logistics improvements to ensure seamless service, high customer satisfaction, optimal inventory levels, and ongoing cost improvements.

Represent one face of J&J Supply Chain to trade customer(s) supply chain

Leads matrixed collaborative relationship between Customer & Logistics Services, Sales, Supply Chain organizations

Acts as the customer champion to bring customer-specific and industry leading requests and opportunities back into J&J. Champions same with other functional areas to satisfy customer requirements

Oversight responsibility to ensure processes / people in place to drive strategic development, creating growth and driving efficiencies through joint supply chains through cost to serve leverage

Ensure optimal, efficient execution of all tactical customer supply chain functions (customer services, A/R), achieving targeted metrics and results

Develop and operationalize policies, systems and processes that drive / support Go-to-Market strategies and sales growth targets

Ensure consistency of approach and use of harmonized cross sector process and seeks leverage and/or synergies with Global and US CLS

Align Voice of Customer and organizational capability

Development of cross sector channel management strategy

Leads development of talent for 32 member team.

Qualifications


Knowledge and experience

University degree required (MBA an asset)

8-10 years progressive leadership experience in planning, distribution and customer service roles

Multi sector experience an asset

Knowledgeable of key business processes and technical requirements related to this role within the Johnson and Johnson environment

Performance Excellence / Six Sigma - Green Belt / Lean Manufacturing experience an asset

French/English Bilingualism a strong asset

Strong well rounded experience with the entire supply chain
