Description

Johnson & Johnson IT Shared Services, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an IT Lead, Data Integration, located in New Brunswick, NJ.

The Data Integration SME is responsible for end to end data ownership of the J&J SAP HR/ payroll engine responsible for US Payroll and HR for eight (8) countries: US, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Singapore, Malaysia, India and South Africa. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the data both from an operational perspective as well as managing projects & upgrades as they relate to data management.

The IT Lead will function as the primary driver of overarching data management strategy and execution across the SAP HR Platform. The position will interact with key business stakeholders, external system integrators and internal IT practitioners to ensure data management leading practices are implemented where appropriate.

This role will own all the interfaces that provide data to the system as well as data flows out of the system to various third party systems (TPV's). This role will ensure that all personally identifiable data that is stored in the system is managed in accordance with appropriate J&J information security policies and procedures. This role will be accountable for understanding of resource needs and optimization leading to efficient project execution as it relates to any data management projects including interface development or remediation. This position will develop an overall data management strategy across the SAP HR Platform. The position will interact with key business stakeholders, external system integrators and internal IT practitioners to ensure data management leading practices are implemented where appropriate.

Ensure that all personally identifiable data that is stored in the system is managed in accordance with appropriate J&J information security policies and procedures. The Lead will be accountable for understanding of resource needs and optimization leading to efficient project execution as it relates to any data management projects including interface development or remediation. The candidate will liaison between the project team and various support functions within shared services and corporate business functions. The candidate will ensure development, coordination, and approval of project documentation as required by the SDLC. Effectively communicate complex technical changes to non-technical teams. Accountable for managing stakeholders in senior management while driving concurrent projects. Lead capacity planning, financial planning, forecast management, portfolio status, service management and KPI reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Accountable for managing integration of projects across other systems in the enterprise. Maintain an awareness of technologies used in the industry and by other leading global I/T organizations, and uses this information to develop new strategies and recommendations. Responsible for regular, frequent and detail-appropriate reports to management about the current status of development/delivery, delivery strategies, vendor performance, and industry trends.

Qualifications


A Bachelor's degree or related experience is required, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance or Business Management. A minimum of seven (7) years of IT experience is required. A minimum of three (3) years in developing integrations for SAP systems is required using ABAP and other languages. Global system implementation or operational experience is preferred. The candidate must have experience in optimizing data maintenance processes. One year prior experience working with SAP XI/ PI is required. Experience handling data sources from heterogeneous systems is required. Webmethods is a plus. Technical expertise in database management and data integration is preferred. Previous experience utilizing a structured methodology such as SDLC is preferred.

The ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills are required. The ability to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines and to be self-directed and thrive in ambiguous circumstances is required.
