Position Description: Responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement tools to design Supply Chain Solutions in current and future operations.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required in Engineering/Business/Supply Chain or a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of four years of related experience is required.
  • Additional Requirements:

  • Position can be located in Novi, Michigan as well.
  • MBA and/or Industrial Engineering Masters Degree is a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred, attainment is required within 12 months.
  • Experience in designing solutions for New Business Development required.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects to achieve objectives and timelines required.
  • Experience in customer interaction and communication at all levels is required.
  • Anlytical and problem solving skills are a must.

    Demonstrated proficiency in:
  • MS Office
  • MS Project and/or AutoCAD, Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Inventory Analyst tools
  • Visio
  • Mapping analysis tools and/or Simulation, preferred
  • Responsibilities:

  • Collects data and performs statistical analysis
  • Maps and documents processes
  • Recommends and implements process improvement
  • Redesigns and/or reengineers logistics processes
  • Supports business development and creates efficient designs and solutions
  • Confers with the Engineering and Operations Managers to implement efficient and competitive solutions
  • Manages small and medium size projects
  • Assists in the development and delivery of presentations to customers as part of the sales team effort
