Position Description: Responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement tools to design Supply Chain Solutions in current and future operations.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree required in Engineering/Business/Supply Chain or a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
Minimum of four years of related experience is required. Additional Requirements:
Position can be located in Novi, Michigan as well.
MBA and/or Industrial Engineering Masters Degree is a plus.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred, attainment is required within 12 months.
Experience in designing solutions for New Business Development required.
Ability to independently manage multiple projects to achieve objectives and timelines required.
Experience in customer interaction and communication at all levels is required.
Anlytical and problem solving skills are a must.
Demonstrated proficiency in:
MS Office
MS Project and/or AutoCAD, Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Inventory Analyst tools
Visio
Mapping analysis tools and/or Simulation, preferred Responsibilities:
Collects data and performs statistical analysis
Maps and documents processes
Recommends and implements process improvement
Redesigns and/or reengineers logistics processes
Supports business development and creates efficient designs and solutions
Confers with the Engineering and Operations Managers to implement efficient and competitive solutions
Manages small and medium size projects
Assists in the development and delivery of presentations to customers as part of the sales team effort
