National Product Manager - Funding Products
National Funding Product Expert and Client Service Consultant
This position will responsibility for havingextensive expertise with Alternative Funding and Consumer Directed Health Care Products and will support Sales & Account Managementteams with customerconversations, presentations, proposals and post-salescustomer on-boarding activities.Additional responsibilities for this position include:
Essential Functions
Provide effective support and expertiseto Sales & Account Managementwith customer and broker discussions related to KP's Funding Product capabilities including: Self-funding, Stop Loss, Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA); Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Flexible Spending Account (FSAs) and Risk Sharing Arrangements
Demonstrates expertise in Alternative Funding and Consumer Directed Health Care sales and business processes and understands operational, financial and other cross functional roles
Independently initiates, identifies and coordinates the analysis of self funding customer and consultant needs and collaborates with Sales & Account Management to identify solutions
Accountable for tracking and/or monitoring customer pipeline activities and report results to senior management.
Consults on the integration of consumer Directed Health Care and Alternative Funding product capabilities and provides job aids, reference tools and internal training programs for S&AM.
Acts as a liaison between business customers and S&AMand/or with development staff throughout the development and implementation ofself funding products/services for customers.
Maintain effective relationships and provide superior customer/broker service.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in related field or equivalent (4 years) experience.
- Minimum: 8-12 yearshealth plan product managementexperience and healthcare financial account (HRA, HSA, FSA) experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must have extensive experience in the health care industry, trategic consulting, sales/account management .
- Must have strong presentation skills, self-motivation
- Professionalism, negotiations skills, flexibility and diplomacy required.
- Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, customers and vendors.
- Must be able to travel at least 30% of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master'sdegree in Business Administration (MBA), or Master's degree in Public Health (MPH).
- 8-12 years of experience in Health Insurance, Health Plan Administration, Healthcare, or Benefit Administration preferred.
- Direct experience and knowledge of the Alternative Funding and Consumer Directed Health Care products is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and standards, with broad knowledge, insurance industry practices and systems, and health care delivery, benefits administration from either or both an employer or payer perspective.
