The Senior IT Business Process Partner is a leader in the IT organization and is the information liaison, and relationship builder, for all cross-functional processes and process-related issues and influences others both inside and outside of the department by bringing the department's information to bear on process-related issues.
 
The Senior IT Business Process Partner will lead conversations with stakeholders on capabilities, determine capability objectives and develop detailed requirements, create and gain approval of business cases, and serve as a leader on projects through their lifecycle. The Senior IT Business Process Partner  is an expert in conducting analysis, leading user acceptance testing, change management and communications, and validation of information.
 
The Senior IT Business Process Partner must have proven ability to lead / develop relationships with business stakeholders to evaluate capabilities against business objectives and develop detailed requirements, create and gain approval of business cases, and serve as a leader on projects through their lifecycle. The Senior IT Business Process Partner must actively engage in strategic and detailed areas of the business, demonstrating business acumen in functional areas with the ability to quickly learn new business processes .

The Senior IT Business Process Partner will provide leadership and accountability for issues and issue escalation management for the business unit; analyzing and assessing the impact of systems-related issues, ensuring the proactive surfacing of potential process issues and flagging of recurrent or systemic issues, and identifying and leading broader methods to improve business processes.

The Senior IT Business Process Partner is also responsible for  the functional integration of solutions back into cross-functional processes, overall optimization of all business processes within the department, and the identification of efficiencies between and among department functions.
The Senior IT Business Process Partner  is responsible for mentoring IT Business Analysts across project / program initiatives to ensure quality outputs and deliverables.

Education Level and/or Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 5 to 10 years experience in Business Analysis experience
· Business process knowledge of assigned business areas
· Certified Business Analysis Professional or Certified Competency in Business Analysis (preferred, pursuit of certification is required) 

Skills and/or Knowledge:
· Expert ability to collaborate with senior leadership, senior technologists and Business Partners to define business processes, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions and measure delivery results
· Expert ability to interface and influence people at all levels within the organization
· Possess an advanced degree of business acumen
· Capable of translating and presenting technical concepts into practical business terms for leaders in both small and large group settings
· Expert ability to analyze and document complex business processes
· Expert in synthesis of ideas to pictorial representation
· Expert in elicitation techniques of business requirements
· Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
· Ability to think analytically and should be a problem solver
· Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information

Other Requirements:
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to effectively express complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
· Business experience that includes working closely with IT in the development and implementation of medium to large-scale integrated systems
·Excellent presentation skills and enthusiasm for case-building
·Expert in process mapping software (ARIS, Visio, Enterprise Architect or similar)
