Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- BS degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, Crop Sciences, Plant Pathology, Entomology, and/or related field and be competent in Plant Sciences, Agriculture and Field Botany.
- Strong interpersonal skills and strong capability to evaluate trait performance & to collect accurate data based on protocols.
- Must be flexible with both a work schedule as well as assigned duties. Work requires occasional overnight travel. Must be willing to work in the Central Valleys field conditions year round.
- Must possess behavioral competencies such as initiative and foresight, agility, and results orientation.
- Must be able to balance multiple tasks, possess strong time management skills, and prioritize work loads.
- Courage and candor - must possess integrity and honesty in their actions and communications.
- Must be a safe driver with clean DMV record.
Desired Skills/Experience:
