The Smarter Commerce Managing / Senior Managing Consultant provides team leadership for large, complex Sterling Commerce (or similar eCommerce software) projects. They manage the relationship with the client and translate customer requirements into formal agreements and plans. This position requires expert knowledge of project management, custom development and eCommerce implementation. The Smarter Commerce Consultant has extensive professional knowledge of the clientâ??s market segment, industry, and technology trends. The Smarter Commerce Consultant is responsible for performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and appropriate business measurements for their project, according to their project charter. They have overall responsibility for revenue and profit objectives of the project. Candidates must have experience managing multi-site development and global resources. This position requires advanced communication skills including experience in building Senior Executive relationships.
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in Large/complex consulting/client management experience - Director level and above
- At least 2 years experience in Custom application development experience
- At least 1 year experience in Global Delivery Model or Solutioning skills
- At least 2 years experience in Working functional/technical knowledge of PM tools and processes including agile/rapid deployment
- Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Intermediate
Preferred
- Master's Degree
- At least 5 years experience in Large/complex consulting/client management experience - Director level and above
- At least 3 years experience in Custom application development experience
- At least 3 years experience in Global Delivery Model or Solutioning skills
- At least 3 years experience in Working functional/technical knowledge of PM tools and processes including agile/rapid deployment
- At least 1 year experience in Solutions using IBM Sterling Commerce or similar software packages
- Certified in Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMI PMP)
- English : Fluent
Additional information
This position requires 75% travel.
