We leverage the proven roadmaps and frameworks that have been developed across 17 industries and the unique combination of skills and experiences of our teams in over 170 countries - unmatched capabilities. When you join IBM, you'll partner with our clients and unharness all of these capabilities to deliver real business value.

This position is an internal consulting role. As the IBM facing practice of GBS Strategy & Transformation (S&T), the Internal Consulting Practice (SCIP) has the unique mission of driving value and the competitive advantage for one of the largest and most dynamic companies in the world. This person will use consulting skills, business knowledge, processes, measurements & tools to analyze issues and drive solutions that transform a clientâ??s business. The AP contributes to intellectual capital, methodology development and staff development within their practice area. The AP is also expected to establish trusted long-term relationships with clients through engagement activities.

This AP role requires the capability to oversee the most complex strategy engagements across corporate Business Strategy and Operations Strategy; supporting the development and implementation of client strategy. They are also expected to contribute to the growth of intellectual capital within their practice area and to support the development of other consultants through participation in mentoring or coaching activities.

This position may require up to 25% travel to the NYC and/or Armonk offices.

It is also expected that new hires live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 mi or less) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; New York City, NY and surrounding areas; Philadelphia, PA; and Washington, DC.
