We are looking for qualified candidates to join our growing Revenue Cycle practice within the Healthcare Provider sector. Revenue Cycle managing consultants sell and manage engagements involving revenue cycle process, technology, and organizational change initiatives. They provide hands-on leadership & direction to the team and manage client relationships. This position will be responsible for leading business case development, identifying and closing new business, and providing thought and practice leadership.

This is both a business development and hands-on consulting delivery role working in a complex integrated environment. Managing Consultants may be responsible for delivery of any of the following: revenue cycle assessments, project management, business process analysis, revenue cycle process transformation / optimization, technology evaluation / implementation, internal control reviews, and financial analysis. The managing consultant is expected to create high quality client deliverables based on tasks completed and perform quality assurance of team deliverables. He/she will interact with clients to complete project tasks, and work collaboratively with other project team members to develop creative solutions.

We are looking for applicants with significant revenue cycle operations experience, strong academic records, and skills in analysis and problem solving. In addition, candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. Candidates should be able to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks concurrently and be adaptable to new assignments, systems, and tools. The consultant will understand healthcare provider business challenges & translate them into requirements / solutions. He/she will find, document and resolve issues on a timely basis. He/she should have knowledge of all aspects of the provider revenue cycle, to include scheduling/registration, patient accounting, claims submission, payment and denial processing and collections.

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years experience in Healthcare provider operations (hospital or ambulatory)
  • At least 3 years experience in management consulting delivery
  • Basic knowledge in Managing Healthcare revenue cycle projects; leading engagements and providing project management
  • Basic knowledge in Documenting, designing, assessing, and/or re-engineering processes
  • Basic knowledge in Directly managing and participating in the application of healthcare industry standards and best practices in an operations environment
  • Basic knowledge in Effectively using presentation skills
  • At least 1 year experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint (intermediate skills)
  • Basic knowledge in Revenue cycle subject matter expertise and best practices, healthcare industry knowledge, workflow design methodologies, PM methodologies, tools and data analysis
  • Basic knowledge in Identifying and closing new business
  • Basic knowledge in Explaining and selling solutions / services
  • Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • English: Basic knowledge


Preferred
  • At least 3 years experience in Healthcare provider operations (hospital or ambulatory)
  • At least 5 years experience in management consulting delivery
  • At least 3 years experience in Managing Healthcare revenue cycle projects; leading engagements and providing project management
