Job description

The Senior Managing Consultant specializing in Master Data Management (MDM), is directly responsible for successful delivery of technical Business Analytics & Optimization (BAO) Enterprise Information Management solutions. The MDM Consultant understands business challenges and translates them into process/technical solutions, as well as manages client relationships within context of individual role. All candidates will have expert-level knowledge of enterprise master data technology initiatives in support of business, operations and technology teams, and knowledge of enterprise master data strategies and best practices. The MDM Consultant will drive master data schema development, access business rules, and master data design and migration processes. The role will provide standards, guidelines, processes and expertise to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise master data issues such as data convergence, data standards and data synchronization.

It is also expected that new hires live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 mi or less) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; Minneapolis, MN; New York City, NY and surrounding areas; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; Tulsa, OK; and Washington, DC.

Required
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • At least 1 year experience in using MDM tools, i.e. Siperian and/or WCC
  • At least 1 year experience in implementing Master Data Management solutions
  • At least 2 years experience in Business Intelligence Industry processes
  • At least 1 year experience in large complex data and data centre environments
  • At least 1 year experience in working in cross-border teams
  • Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
  • English: Fluent


Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years experience in using MDM tools, i.e. Siperian and/or WCC
  • At least 3 years experience in implementing Master Data Management solutions
  • At least 3 years experience in IBM Information Services (IIS) (e.g., Data Stage, Profile Stage, Quality Stage, Meta Data Management)
  • At least 3 years experience in Business Intelligence Industry processes
  • At least 3 years experience in large complex data and data centre environments
  • At least 3 years experience in working in cross-border teams
