What will you do as an IBM GBS consultant intern? With diverse practice areas, our consulting services help clients develop strategy; integrate process, technology, and information to reduce costs; and improve profit and shareholder value. GBS develops innovative solutions for our clientsâ?? most vital business and technical issues. You will work with some of the brightest consulting minds in business, helping clients achieve a competitive advantage in some of the following ways: Partnering with company leaders to strategize, develop and transform their business capabilities to better understand the opportunities or implications when business and technology intersect; or Integrating client functions â?? such as sales, customer service, marketing, and business intelligence; or Assessing, designing and implementing financial and accounting solutions; or Working with clients to improve Human Resource effectiveness using leading-edge HR management tools, software and best practice models; or Improving supply chain performance through optimizing processes, developing opportunities and transforming service delivery.

Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
- At least 6 months experience in demonstrated leadership skills
- Basic knowledge in demonstrated issue based consulting skills
- Basic knowledge in business process development, technology package implementation and change management
- Basic knowledge in and the capacity to learn new assignments, systems, and tools
- Basic knowledge in and a demonstrated history of achievement in academics, internships and /or work
- At least 1 year experience in an MBA program with concentration in relevant areas
- English : Intermediate
