Job description
The BAO (Business Analytics and Optimization) Business Analyst will be responsible for the following:
-providing client consulting skills
-providing industry leading practices in master data and presentation management,
-providing industry leading practices in solution architecture, design, and roadmap
-responsible for current state assessment, future state design, and roadmap development for solution
The candidate will be experienced in Upstream trading and downstream data terminology (with data modeling a plus). Will identify Functional and Technical Requirements and validates data quality design, business rules, results, and validates Governance design.
It is also expected that newly hired resources into the Global Business Services U.S. practice live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New York City, NY and surrounding area; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; and Washington, DC.

Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 2 years experience in upstream Oil and Gas Industry
- At least 2 years experience in one or more areas within the industry: upstream supply, refining, distribution and/or marketing
- Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Fluent
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in upstream Oil and Gas Industry
- At least 3 years experience in one or more areas within the industry: upstream supply, refining, distribution and/or marketing
- Certified in Project Management
