Job description
This role is responsible for successful delivery of BAO Advanced Analytics solutions and services in a client consulting environment, and is an experienced consultant in the areas of statistics software. Typical tasks include defining the key business problems to be solved, formulating mathematical approaches to solve those problems, gathering of data to solve those problems, and finally developing analyzing/drawing conclusions & giving the presentations.
Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the Washington DC Metropolitan Area at their own expense. Position requires up to 100% travel.

Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in SPSS Stats, Modeler, and or Text Analytics modules to develop solutions to analytical problems
- At least 3 years experience in advanced Excel-based modeling skills
- Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- U.S. citizenship required
- English: Fluent
Preferred
- Master's Degree
- Basic knowledge in mathematics, statistics, operations research, engineering,economics or finance
- At least 2 years experience in working as part of a team
- At least 2 years experience in identifying and defining requirements and turning functional requirements into an SPSS-based solution that addresses difficult analytic challenges
- At least 2 years experience in statistical packages (i.e., SAS or R) and visual basic is a plus
- At least 2 years experience in analytic skills, yet be a strategic thinker who can see the big picture, while managing the details
- At least 2 years experience in solving client's analytics problems and effectively communicating results and methodologies
