Compliance and Control

· Ensures GFS-Asia Pacific (Suzhou) operations are in full compliance to corporate policies and procedures

· Lead in SOX documentation, reporting, testing and remediation plans

· Maintain, review and update Compliance documentation, incorporating any scope change requests or new services rendered.

· Identify, evaluate and improve testing deficiencies, as well as, other internal control/process weaknesses.

· Plan, coordinate and monitor the testing of internal controls in accordance with J&J SOX ICH requirements and other related checks as required by Corporate Finance and/or other business units

· Responsible for review of Segregation of Duties conflicts and excessive access in all ERPs and other systems

· Coordinate and communicate for any change/updates in the compliance and control environment between GFS-Asia Pacific (Suzhou) and local finance

· Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovate solutions so the team can operate in an efficient and cost effective manner

· Assist Compliance Associate Director in compliance related tasks as required

· Maintain professional attitude during compliance and control activities and resolution of issues

· Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders (external / internal customers, co-workers)

· Ensure proper and timely escalation of issues so that they are resolved to meet internal and external expectations
· Ensure current processes, operations, systems, databases and information security are up to date and comply with proper accounting and legal principles/policies/procedures, including GAAP, Company WWP (worldwide procedures), ICH, SOX and others

Qualifications


· At least University degree in finance related field or equivalent

· Intend to pursue or pursuing Certified Public Accountant (CPA, ?????) or equivalent qualification

· At least 1-3 years experience in service support function with comprehensive understanding of compliance and control concepts, processes and procedures

· Familiarity in SOX documentation procedure and SOX certification is desirable

· Experience in shared services center of a multinational corporation desirable
